Fall Competitive Player Development Sessions


Registration is NOW OPEN for our Fall 2021 Competitive Player Development Clinics

NOTE: only players who are registered to one of our 2021-2022 competitive teams are eligible to register for these programs, along with all U9 and U11 players who have registered for competitive tryouts.

Session 1 - Core Skills Development - 6 Weeks
October 6, 13, 20, 27, November 3, 10
National Training Rinks - Barrie

6:00pm U9 & U11 (born 2011-2014)
7:00pm U11 & U13 (born 2009-2012)
8:00pm U13, U15 & U18 (born 2004-2010)

This 6 week program will focus on the core skills of hockey.  Skating, shooting, passing, and puck control will all be developed to give players greater ability and higher confidence in their game.

Registration Fee: $90.00 per skater


 

Session 2 - Puck Control - 5 Weeks
November 17, 24, December 1, 8, 15
National Training Rinks - Barrie

6:00pm U9 & U11 (born 2011-2014)
7:00pm U11 & U13 (born 2009-2012)
8:00pm U13, U15 & U18 (born 2004-2010)

This 5 week program will focus on the building and refining of puck control skills including shooting, passing, stick handling, retrievals and puck protection.

Registration Fee: $75.00 per skater

 


Important notes for all sessions:

  • A registration fee of $15/week will be charged - $90 for a 6-week session - $75 for a 5-week session
  • Participation in these sessions is limited to players on a BWHA competitive team roster for the 2021-22 season along with all U9 and U11 players who have registered for competitive tryouts.. Registrations from any other players will be cancelled.
  • Players may register for 1 or both of the fall development sessions - within your age group.
  • All sessions will be held at National Training Rinks (NTR) Barrie - 120 Big Bay Point Road.
  • Spaces are limited to 18 skaters per session. Advanced registration is required through our online registration system.
  • Parents and players entering the National Training Rinks facility will need follow all Covid-19 protocols - see our Covid-19 Protocols and Vaccine Requirements page for more information.
  • Parents will also be required to produce proof of vaccination to be allowed in the NTR facility.
