The Barrie Women’s Hockey Association is proud to announce that we have once again been selected to offer the NHL/NHLPA FIRST SHIFT program.
Once again the BWHA will be hosting TWO First Shift Sessions!

ABOUT FIRST SHIFT
The First Shift program is open to children ages 6-10*, who have never previously enrolled in minor hockey within Canada or the NHL/NHLPA First Shift program. The program focuses on the fundamentals of hockey, and showing new players how fun it is!
*To be eligible to participate, children must be born between January 1, 2015 and May 1, 2020.
The cost to participate is $299.00 which includes the 6 week on ice program, player insurance, as well as
head-to-toe hockey Bauer equipment - including helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, pants, shin guards and skates! The equipment is provided at the welcome event and a week or two later players will attend weekly on ice session for a period of 6 weeks.
Registration is open now! Space is limited to 30 players per session so register early.
