Goals of Program:
Maintain strength gains built during the off-season, avoid detraining and maintain
performance (durability)
Manage fatigue, limit muscle soreness, and focus on proper movement biomechanics to
reduce likelihood of injury (FMS on each player beginning & end of program)
Focus on lower volume, higher intensity strength, power, and agility workouts
Encourage healthy lifestyle habits both inside and outside hockey routine
A healthy team, performing at their peak all season, is a winning team!
